Purpose To promote and support the work of outstanding early career diversity scholars.
Focus Area and ethnic studies.
Qualifications Applicants must be early career scholars in African, African American, or African Diaspora studies whose research/scholarship focuses on racism, racial equity, and/or racial justice; must have a PhD in hand from an institution other than the University of Michigan and be no more than seven years beyond the completion of their degree.
Funds $55,000
Duration Annual.
To Apply Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, research proposal, teaching statement, personal statement and diversity commitment, writing sample (max 30 pages, double-spaced), and at least three references.
Deadline November 1.
